Eggborough Domestic Solar Installation

We worked closely with our client in order to get the system just right for their needs.

Our client had a high electricity usage and was also looking to buy an electric car. Knowing this, we decided to use as much of the roof space as possible but also considering how the system would look.

Using our design software, we were able to balance the system across 30 x 405w panels that were split across 4 strings and 2 inverters that would work together to meet the demands of the household and also charge 25Kwh of battery storage.

The team installed all the roof hooks and rails on the first day of the install and then went on to install the panels on the second day. The third day was all about the cabling, containment, inverter and battery mounting. Leaving the connections, testing and commissioning for the final day.

Along with the Solar PV system, we also installed a Zappi car charger that sends any excess solar energy straight to the car. To make sure our client didn’t lose any energy they had generated, we installed the Eddi energy diverter to heat the client’s hot water.

A fantastic system that is allowing our client to be almost completely grid independent.
